FLOW-GENIX Disc Check Valves feature a wafer type, compact and rugged cast steel design and are suitable for any process liquid, air, gas, steam, etc. Disc check valves are opened by the pressure of fluid and closed through compression spring as soon as flow stops thus preventing reverse flow.

FLOW-GENIX Forged Steel Lift Check Valve, in common with all check valves, are used to prevent backflow in the line, and operate automatically, according to increases or decreases in line pressures. Flow through a lift check is the same as a globe valve. The disc raises up off of the seat as pressure below the disc increases, while a drop in pressure on the inlet side and a build-up of pressure on the outlet side causes the valve to close. Backpressure in the line holds the disc in the closed position.

FLOW-GENIX Wafer Type Check Valve has short face-to-face dimensions and low weight allows a simple space saving installation between the companion flanges. The valve features a hinged or spring-loaded disc that opens with forward flow and closes automatically when flow stops or reverses, protecting pumps and equipment from damage.

FLOW-GENIX Swing Check Valve or tilting disc check valve is a check valve in which the disc, the movable part to block the flow, swings on a hinge or trunion, either onto the seat to block reverse flow, or off the seat to allow forward flow.
